Filmmakers for Ukraine

Just days after Russia’s President Vladimir Putin launched his war against Ukraine, Oliver Zenglein and Vincent Lutz, the founders of Crew United, decided to do what they stand for: Connecting people and providing them with up-to-date and verified information.
They launched the online platform FILMMAKERS FOR UKRAINE to help Ukrainian filmmakers and their families, as well as disadvantaged groups and minorities from Ukraine, such as BIPoC, LGBTQIA+, Roma, people with disabilities, as well as children, the sick and the elderly. By “FILMMAKERS” they of course mean all filmmakers in front of and behind the camera!
FILMMAKERS FOR UKRAINE was supported by associations, institutions and numerous colleagues from the film industry. Those seeking help will find clearly arranged and current offers of help from all European countries.
